Urinary tract infections are more common in women. They usually occur in the bladder or urethra, but more serious infections involve the kidney.
A bladder infection may cause pelvic pain, increased urge to urinate, pain with urination, and blood in the urine. A kidney infection may cause back pain, nausea, vomiting, and fever.
A UTI is most commonly treated with various antibiotics which we will be discussing in this lecture. We hope you enjoy this video and be sure to support us below!

Thank you so much ma’am love all your explanations so simple and easy to understand 🙏
holding BP meds are definitely a case by case basis. I have some patient who will be SBP>200 throughout the whole tx and sometimes even present s/s of HTN if they hold their BP meds; for these patient's (who are typically on 2-4 BP meds of different classifications) we hold and try to add one a week until we can get a safe trend of getting their post tx BP around 140 SBP; also we cannot hold something like coreg if its being given for arrythmia control
It was really good and helpful.. Thank you😊
The best lecture ever
thank you!
Great lecture… but while calculating the fluid replacement we cant go beyond 50% irrespective of the TBSA. Even if tbsa is 80… we ll calculate it as 4 x (tbsa) 50 x weight…
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand Subscribed
This was a very informative session. The Presentation was great and easy to follow. Very clear and concise in nature and i learned so much. Great work!
I have had two vitrectomy surgeries and I share my pre and post operation story because as much as I wanted info, when I was diagnosed, I mostly wanted to know what a person actually felt like… I felt so alone so I share my story to be there for others going through this ❤
1:40 😂😂
thank you vey much madam Ninja.
Broooo where is prof zach !!
Hi I thought neutrophils are first then macrophages?
My course and textbook do not talk about the transition phase in stage 1. Why is that? I see some videos on UA-cam that do and some that do not. All we get taught is Latent and Active
Ma'am I needed this topics notes
This is good... Really good
The color pop in the diagrams❤😂
You calm be down with the easy explanation you gave. Now I'm ready for the procedure next Tuesday.
Thank you!
Crazy to know triage has nothing to do with the number 3 (mainly). Thank you for the tip! “Sort”
Great video. I weight train 4-5 times a week and often fluctuate 10-15 pounds seasonally depending on training goals, diet, etc. but am typically ~18% BF. My creatinine has historically been around 1.29-1.3. eGFR and everything else is normal, other than high liver enzymes depending on when I tested in relation to my recent workouts. Most docs seem to panic about my kidney and liver levels but it never seems that is taken into account my exercise or body type. How high of creatinine is actually worrysome in someone with more muscle and consistent hypertrophy than the average person?
My pinky finger seems to be the one most affected. That must be unusual based on what I see here. A cold tile floor will set it off in my feet unless I'm wearing slippers or thick socks.
